Award Information

Amount: The scholarship amount ($1,000) will be awarded annually and can be used for tuition, books, supplies, or other education expenses.

Disbursement: Funds will be disbursed directly to the educational institution upon confirmation of the student’s enrolment.

Deadline: Applications must be submitted by February 15th annually.
Notification: Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 30th annually.

    The applicant’s academic performance and commitment to their students in the field of massage therapy.
     
  2. Passion for the Profession
    Demonstrated interest, dedication, and future aspirations in massage therapy.
     
  3. Community Engagement
    Involvement in activities or initiatives that contribute to the wellness or massage therapy community.
  1. Enrolment Status
    Must be currently enrolled at a massage therapy program at an accredited school in Manitoba.
     
  2. Academic Performance
    Minimum GPA requirement (minimum percentage 85%) to demonstrate academic commitment and performance.
    Submission of official transcripts from the current education institution.
     
  3. Commitment to the Massage Therapy Field
    Applicants must provide a personal statement (500-750 words) detailing their passion for massage therapy, career goals, and long-term plans in the field.
     
    Letters of recommendation from instructors and / or professionals in the massage therapy field or community (1-2 letters).
     
  4. Community Involvement
    Active involvement in community service, health and wellness initiatives, or volunteer work related to wellness or massage therapy (if applicable).
  1. The scholarship must be used within the academic year for tuition or school-related expenses.
  2. The recipient must maintain a GPA of 85% or higher to remain eligible for continued disbursement (if applicable).
  3. All application materials must be submitted by the specified deadline.
  4. The scholarship is non-transferable and is only applicable to students in the recognized massage therapy program.
